About the job

My mom is living with metastatic breast cancer and currently undergoing treatment that makes her very low energy. She also has a disability that affects her legs and is unsteady when she walks. I'm looking for someone to visit her about twice a week and check that she has food in the house, help prepare some meals, help with light housework, and assist her with some exercise. She may need help driving to appointments. My mom would get along with someone with a sense of humor who is upbeat and patient with her, as she is frustrated that she moves slower than she used to. Someone who would not judge a messy house (gently help her organize) and not a soft spoken person because because she is hard of hearing. Overall, someone kind and caring. My mom is Armenian from LA, 70 years old and still mentally healthy.
