Looking for a nurse/caregiver for my father in Scottsdale who has had multiple small vessel strokes. Expectations include: assisting with morning grooming, cooking and feeding him breakfast and lunch, initiating 50 oz of water consumed during shift, always supervising walking and bathroom activities so he does not fall, doing PT exercises and hand exercises every day. Preferred candidate will have experience with stroke victims, at least a 2 year nursing degree, love dogs and cats (no allergies to them), and be resourceful and adept with cooking gluten free and dairy free meals. We might ask you to run errands and drive him to PT appointments if he is improving, but can provide a car for that. Only will hire a non-smoker, comfortable with pets, and CPR / first-aid trained. Nursing degree strongly preferred.
