About the job

About who needs care: My mother had a stroke last year in October and it has affected her ability to move her left arm and leg. She has gained little movement in her left leg and is currently doing physical and occupational therapy. She would need help transferring and getting ready for the day such has showers, hygiene. Brief changes as well and catheter care and some housekeeping if available. She currently lives with brothers who both work full time jobs so we are just looking for an extra pair of hands to help my mother with daily tasks the morning. About the care needs: Some one who is specializes in stroke patients. Someone who is friendly and loves to talk. My mom is very shy but warms up to a friendly soul. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
