About the job

My 85-year-old grandmother, Marianne, lives alone in the home she's owned for 40 years in Glendale. I am her only local family member, and I reside in South Phoenix some 45 minutes away. After her third fall in as many years, for which she is currently in the hospital, my grandmother has agreed that she could benefit from regular in-home assistance. She struggles with taking her medications, maintaining hygiene, housekeeping, and a healthy diet. She loves to tell the same sweet and silly stories over and over, watch procedural television programs, and play gin rummy. The ideal caregiver for my grandmother would be someone patient and kind, who doesn't mind hearing the same sweet and silly stories over and over again.
