About the job
Hi, I'm a retired teacher, 72 years old. After a series of surgeries, I've returned to work, but I got so far behind on housekeeping that I could use a helper on a regular basis. I already have experienced house cleaners to do the major cleaning. I'm looking for help with washing dishes, carrying baskets of laundry up from the basement, and working side-by-side with me to clean out closets. I will be sorting things to donate or throw away, and going through old boxes of stuff from previous jobs. I'm not looking for someone to do the organizing FOR me; I'm looking for someone to do it WITH me. And I could also use help with light housework in between visits from the cleaning team.
