About the job

My child is non verbal autistic and uses a communication device. I would need someone who is comfortable around kids with autism and can keep things consistent for him. This person would have to know when to pick their battles and when to be be firm. For example, he only does his iPad once per day with a timer (IF and only if he earned it), but he will ask repeatedly 100+ times for it. Thats when you would have to stay firm in saying no, despite behaviors and him asking nonstop. He is sometimes in pull ups, but most of the time hes in underwear and needs help in the bathroom. He can get dressed himself, but needs help most days making sure pants are pulled up and clothes arent backwards.
