Work site- Children's Discovery Center - Stevens Point Start Date- as soon as possible Starting Pay- $15. 31-$16. 87 per hour depending on experience Full or Part Time positions available Benefits- Paid time off, holidays, 401K (6% match), life insurance, access to health, dental, vision and disability insurance. Duties- Responsible for assisting the teacher in preparing and conducting classroom activities which provide a developmentally age and stage appropriate curriculum, utilizing developmentally appropriate practices as outlined in the Program's philosophy and Creative Curriculum. Minimum Qualifications -If you do not meet the minimum qualifications on the job training may be provided. High School diploma or equivalent (required) and Two courses in Early Childhood Education through an institute of higher education (preferred) and Six months related work experience working directly with children (preferred). Must obtain and maintain a current certificate of completion for infant and child cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) within 3 months of hire and a certificate of completion of shaken baby syndrome training prior to working in the center.
