We are looking for someone dependable who can help 3 days a week (may occasionally be opportunity for extra days here and there and additional date night hours if you want them). Necessary days would be Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from about 8:30 a.m. until 2-4. This time frame may vary as our jobs can sometimes have flexible hours. There may be times one parent is home working, and times one parent is home sleeping due to night shift work. Consistently three days a week, 6-8 hours. Our daughter will be starting pre-K in the fall so it would be great to find someone who doesn't mind helping with transport. This would mean that there would be a lot of time with just the youngest while she is at school once it starts. Our kids enjoy being active (especially our youngest). They enjoy arts and crafts, reading, playing outside. Our oldest loves imaginative play and would love someone who will play games with her. Our youngest takes some time to warm up to new people but he is then very outgoing and busy! Our oldest will likely be starting a part time Pre-K program in the fall as well - potentially would need assistant to transport her but is up for discussion. Our oldest is pretty independent and just needs help to make sure she's on the right track from time to time. She also has a small speech delay so someone who will take the time to understand her and even help her with the occasional pronunciation is a bonus! Our youngest needs someone who is patient and willing to give him time to win him over. He needs typical support for an 18-month-old, and supervision to avoid climbing on anything and everything. Experience with young kids, enjoys spending time and playing with kids, and some minor organizational skills to help their routine stay consistent. Creativity is a huge bonus! And someone who is comfortable with a friendly dog who loves to be part of the group. Yes One dog - German shepherd mix, about 40 lbs. very friendly, loves to play and be involved but is capable of settling down once he's used to you. One cat - Siamese, friendly but will avoid the kids. May try to get outside if a door is left open and he thinks the kids aren't around, is indoor only though. Most likely to stay hidden upstairs the majority of the time.
