About the job

Full-time English-speaking long-term female Nanny needed, full or part time, M-F 9-5 (hours flexible) in Fairfax for non-speaking 19-yr old female with special needs who is mobile & uses a talker to foster independence in activities of daily living (ADLs). Additional hours (evenings/weekends) possible. Must be able to work legally 40 hours a week, and pass a background check. This is taxable income paid by the State and reported to the IRS. Valid drivers license and clean driving record required (car for appointments available). Must be patient and able to incorporate guidance from educational consultant, speech therapist, and occupational therapist into daily tasks. OTHER TASKS: bathing, dressing, diapering, basic food prep and laundry, driving and attending med appointments, supervision, and companionship.
