About the job

We are a young professional couple looking for a nanny for our 21-month-old daughter in Alexandria, by Kingstowne Shopping Center. We would like someone who could help out with light housekeeping, does not smoke, is CPR/first-aid certified, and has both nannying experience and experience with the Montessori method. Our baby takes 1 nap a day for about 2 hours. She is very vocal and speaking multiple languages, and enjoys reading. She also enjoys playgrounds and actively playing with Montessori-style toys. We do not engage in screen time with our baby, avoid overstimulating lights and sounds, and encourage self-exploration. We also do not baby talk, we narrate our actions in multiple languages and engage and talk to the baby to encourage development.
