About the job

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Special Education Aide to support an upper elementary nonspeaking female student with autism. This part-time position is for three days per week from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for first semester (August 11 - December 30, 2025). There is potential for the position to continue into second semester. The ideal candidate will provide individualized support that promotes the students academic, social, and emotional growth within the private educational school setting. Candidates must be comfortable assisting with toileting and hygiene needs, as this is a key component of supporting the students daily routine. The aide must also be willing to walk daily to the outdoor park located behind the school to assist the student at the playground.
