About the job
I am in need of a nanny who could help me with early mornings on occasion to be here when my son wakes up and to get him ready for school. (I work in medical device sales and have early surgeries in Houston that require me to leave my house around 5:15-5:30am). He starts kindergarten in Montgomery in August. The school is 3 miles away. So he'll need breakfast, help getting dressed and ready, and just fun, interactive play/conversation to help him start off his great day! I may also need the occasional help with pick up from school when my patient appointments and/or surgeries are running later into the afternoon. It will be much of the same for the afternoons - pick up, fun/stimulating play and conversation, and possibly some light snacks or meal prep. My schedule varies so my thought is this will be a part time job. On days I don't have to leave my home early for work, etc... I will of course do all of this myself. However, when I need someone in place, it will always be scheduled and known ahead of time. There may also be occasional nights (maybe 1x a month) that I have a work dinner/function that I need a sitter in place. The schedule will always be known in advance. My hope is to find someone who can become a family member with us and who finds as much joy in being with my son as I do. I need an extension of myself to care for and love him when I have to be at work.
