About the job

We're seeking a compassionate, adaptable in-home nanny/teacher for our 6-year-old son, who is making incredible progress through natural, biomedical healing. He's transitioning from non-verbal to increasingly verbal, with growing comprehension and social skills. Both parents work remotely, so you'll have support. The role starts with safety, meal support, and play-based learning, then expands to language support and early learning as he progresses. Our primary focus is on speech, comprehension, and potty training before academic skills. We value patience, flexibility, and a willingness to grow with him. Experience with preschoolers is a plus. Comfort with dogs. We have a protective Australian Shepherd/Blue Heeler mix, who will be secured until she adjusts to your presence. Part-time, mid-morning to 4 p.m. (flexible for the right candidate).
