Our son is energetic, outgoing, and thrives with a consistent routine. Were looking for someone who can keep him engaged while also maintaining firm boundaries. He's clever and persistent, so it's important that his caregiver isn't easily swayed. His ideal day includes outdoor play, shooting basketball, fishing, playing with our dog, and plenty of movement. He'll also need some supervision with summer reading or light academic tasks. He does best when active and structured, so creativity with low-cost activities to keep him busy is appreciated. A calm but confident presence is key. Our summer schedule alternates weekly with his biological mom, so it's not a full-time summer setup. On the weeks we do have him, our work schedules offer flexibility- some days were off, and other days we may get home earlier than usual.
