My daughter is autistic and nonverbal. She does best with someone whos patient and familiar with sensory needs. Shes affectionate, responds to her name, and can follow simple instructions like come here or no. She currently works with an occupational therapist and will be starting ABA soon. Her ideal day includes a mix of sensory-friendly activities and calm play. She enjoys puzzles, bubbles, stringing beads, and relaxing in her sensory chair. She also loves watching Ms. Rachel, although we try to limit screen time. She thrives with a predictable routine and does well when gently redirected if needed.
