About the job

We're seeking an experienced temporary caregiver for our sweet, energetic 7-year-old daughter. Hours are Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (some flexibility) for August - September (possibility of extension into October). Mom works from home and will be present. Our daughter has PANS/PANDAS, a neuroimmune condition causing OCD, communication/concentration challenges, ADHD-like symptoms, anxiety, tics, and sensory sensitivities. Your role would involve engaging her in child-led activities like reading, playing with putty, or backyard exploration. Requirements: Experience with special needs children, knowledge of/willingness to learn about PANS/PANDAS, up-to-date vaccinations (due to immunocompromised status), and ability to pass a background check. Family is bilingual English/French, so French language is a plus.
