About the job

We are looking for a caregiver to support our fun, bright 7-year-old for 4-5 days a week, 30-40 hours. Our kiddo is neurodivergent, non-binary, and disabled. School didn't work well for her at all, so we homeschool and need care during the day. Looking for someone who is calm, patient, can help a sensitive kiddo feel safe, and is game for following their lead with lots of play and silly fun. We're looking for someone who can both give her the space to be herself and chart her own path but also use creativity and good energy to get and keep her engaged in new activities. Must be queer affirming, okay with screen time, collaborative, compassionate and able to provide a low demand environment. Ideally experienced with neurodiversity-affirming approaches to working with kids and committed to the idea that kids do well when they can.
