I'm a single mom seeking a nanny to care for my 6-year-old autistic child with a PDA (Pathological Demand Avoidance) profile. This is a part-time summer position (24 hours/week) with potential to continue into the school year in a reduced or flexible basis. Summer hours would be 3 full days (8a-5p) per week, or a combo of full/partial days. The ideal candidate is creative, flexible, and knowledgeable of low-demand approaches to childcare. This individual builds trust through connection - not control. Responsibilities include child-focused care, play, light meal prep/tidying related to child, and occasional transitions or appointments. Experience with neurodivergent children, in special education or therapeutic work, is a plus; however, mindset and approach are most important. Please message with your experience and availability.
