About the job

We are looking for a calm, mature, and emotionally attuned caregiver to support our 13-year-old child who is currently receiving home hospice care. This role requires not only experience with children, but also the ability to be present and grounded in emotionally sensitive situations. The ideal candidate is comfortable learning about and using medical equipment (such as g-tube feeding systems), administering medications, and working closely with hospice professionals. In addition to caring for our teen, this person will help with light housekeeping and meal preparation for our three children. There will also be occasional driving for the siblings to school, activities, or appointments, so a valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
