Hi! We're a fun and loving family of four with two energetic boys, ages 3 and 4, and two dogs! I work from home in corporate finance, and my husband is a registered nurse with a rotating schedule. Most of our energy goes toward raising our little guys, so we're looking for a calm, caring, and reliable babysitter to help us recharge every now and then. We're hoping to find someone who: Has experience with toddlers or preschool-aged kids Can manage active play, mealtime, and bedtime routines Is patient, positive, and supportive in redirecting big emotions Enjoys getting on the floor and being part of the chaos Is comfortable with occasional short-notice needs due to a variable work schedule Bonus if you: Have CPR/First Aid certification Have your own transportation We're big on emotional intelligence, creativity, and making space for both structure and spontaneity. Whether we're organizing the chaos, learning something new, or just enjoying a quiet moment together, we try to lead with patience, humor, and heart. We have two dogs: Oakley: Labrador - 12 years old. Oakley is overly affectionate, a little too much at times. He enjoys barking at any moving vehicle that goes by. Cedar: Border Collie/Golden Retriever - 5 years old. Cedar is a rescue and is scared of his own shadow which makes him a bit anxious. He loves belly rubs and to carry around his candy cane pillow. Additional needs include light housekeeping, meal prep and being comfortable with pets.
