This wonderful returning SmartFamily is looking for a new part-time nanny to join their team. They have three lovely kids (two girls, ages 4 and 5, and their older brother, age 6) and reside on the Upper West Side. *Update: they are also expecting a baby in July! The full-time nanny will be caring for the baby during the day until 5:00, and the parents get home from work at 6:00. Therefore, starting in October, this new person will have all the kids for one hour of the day. Their beloved nanny of six years will be retiring at the end of September, a two-nanny team has worked well for them thus far, so they're looking for someone new to collaborate with their other full-time nanny to help their days run smoothly. They're ideally looking to start in June, but would consider starting earlier or later for the right candidate. The ideal candidate for this position is experienced with their children's age groups, safety-conscious, and highly professional. It's $40 per hour gross plus PTO, Sick Time, a MetroCard, and a monthly Healthcare Stipend TBD and the family is happy to guarantee 20-30 hours per week. The Ideal Candidate for this Job The ideal nanny for this role is a team player, and works well with other staff in the home, as you'll be working with their other nanny each day. You're an experienced part-time nanny, organized, and safety-conscious. You're cautious when out and about with the kids, especially on public transportation, and make sure to hold their hands and keep them close. You're also happy to provide homework assistance when needed. Schedule Monday through Thursday from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. is the base of what they need, but if the right candidate is looking for more hours, they can offer up to 30 hours/week. They're open to adding Fridays, or some extra hours Monday through Thursday. Please note, this position is a year-round role.
