A Day in the Life This position begins on July 1st, 2025, and runs from 11:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday through mid-August. After a brief two-week break before the school year, hours shift to 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM beginning in September. During the summer, the child is dismissed at 11:30 AM, during the school year, dismissal is at 2:30 PM. The nanny will begin each day by preparing snacks, tidying the child's space, and managing his laundry. Once the child is home, the focus will shift to developmentally enriching activities such as outdoor play, reading, creative projects, and structured downtime that nurtures confidence and autonomy. This child thrives on structure and benefits from clear communication and calm, enthusiastic guidance. He is affectionate, social, and loves crunchy snacks, books, and playground time. As a selective eater with sensory sensitivities, he needs a patient, sensory-aware caregiver who can help him navigate peer interactions and new experiences with care and encouragement. Their Mary Poppins The ideal nanny is warm, upbeat, and incredibly reliable-with at least 5 years of professional childcare experience and specific expertise working with children with special needs, especially autism. They bring patience, structure, and proactive energy to the day, and have a strong understanding of how to support developmental milestones while allowing space for independence. They are a clear communicator who collaborates seamlessly with parents and thrives in a structured home environment.
