About the job

We're seeking a paid caregiver (Direct Support Professional) to work 1-on-1 with our daughter, a 9-year-old girl with development delays. She is a happy, affectionate, and energetic child who loves imaginative play, swimming, Legos, and animals. She is highly social, enjoys being active, and thrives on routine and engagement. She needs a compassionate, patient caregiver to play with her, support her in daily activities at home and in the community while promoting life skills, independence, and safety. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required. Valid NYS driver's license and reliable transportation required. Experience with children with developmental disabilities preferred. Ability to work independently, demonstrate sound judgment, and provide consistent support.
