About the job

Responsibilities include: learning and adapting to the children's needs, providing oversight during play in the home and in the neighborhood park, attending therapy sessions as needed, feeding, administering medication, toileting and diapering, executing nap and/or bed time routines, any other tasks required to meet the children's needs, very occasionally taking our small dog out in the yard briefly. Pay Structure: Hourly wages are earned in one of two ways. One is as a Consumer Directed Personal Assistant (CDPA) via a publicly-funded program. The other is as a household employee, paid directly by the family. Work Environment: Two-story home, Non-smoking home, small dog, neighborhood including park, centrally located home in Broome County, and one parent works from home. Paid job training and possible flexibility with work schedule/hrs.
