As an Assistant Infant Room Teacher, you will play a key role in creating a nurturing, safe, and developmentally supportive environment for infants and toddlers (ages 6 weeks-18 months). Reporting to the Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for providing high-quality childcare, engaging children in meaningful learning activities, and maintaining open communication with families. Key Responsibilities: Deliver attentive, loving care for infants Perform daily routines such as feeding, diapering, and soothing Engage children in age-appropriate activities: reading, singing, and sensory play Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating classroom environment Foster strong relationships with families through professional, positive communication Collaborate with team members and work independently as needed What We're Looking For:Required: Minimum 1 year of childcare experience Reliable transportation with the ability to commute or relocate to Clark, NJ Preferred: 1 year of teaching experience Child Development Associate (CDA) Certification Ideal Traits: Positive attitude with family-friendly values Patient, calm, and safety-conscious Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills Schedule: Monday to Friday 8-hour shifts Compensation & Benefits: Competitive hourly rate: $16. 00-$18. 00 Health insurance Paid time off How to Apply: If you're ready to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young children, we'd love to hear from you.
