KiddieCorp is a nationwide company with 39 years of experience providing childcare at special events. We supply all the equipment and look for local childcare workers to ensure kids are safe and having fun! We are hiring providers for a group childcare event in Lincoln, NE at $20/hr. Multiple providers and an onsite manager will be present to keep things organized. Shift Schedule: Thursday, July 10 -- Mandatory Paid Orientation and Sensitivity Training 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, July 11 7:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. or 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday, July 12 7:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. or 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. There will be children affected by Batten Disease in the program. Batten Disease is a rare, inherited disorder of the nervous system that typically begins in childhood. The disease is characterized by the accumulation of fatty substances called lipofuscins in the body's tissues. Early symptoms of Batten Disease include vision problems or seizures, followed by progressive loss of motor skills and mental deterioration, leading to loss of speech, mobility, and cognitive function. Other symptoms can include personality changes, behavior problems, and shortened lifespan. Please only apply for this event if you are comfortable working with children affected by Batten Disease.
