About the job

We are looking for an energetic, reliable and committed person/people in Western Montgomery County to provide personal supports and coaching for a non-speaking young adult man with autism. This amazing young man is pursuing his dreams and needs people who believe in him and can assist with daily tasks and activities, sensory regulation, coaching, and use of his specific mode of communication, called Spelling to Communicate (S2C). Responsibilities/Expectations: - Assist with academic, communication, and community goals - Implement daily programming to enhance life skills, and communication, and participation within the community. - Demonstrate professionalism through prompt and regular attendance during scheduled hours - Participate in oversight and planning sessions.
