Hi folks! We're moving Odenton in August and looking to find a regular, part-time nanny for two school-aged kids for daily afterschool care in our home (approx. 3-7 p.m. M-F). Both children are autistic and will be enrolled in public school. The 6 yr old is fully (very) verbal, intelligent, and mostly struggles with deviations in routines, etc. The 7 yr old has higher support needs and is fully non-speaking, but is intelligent, sweet, and communications with an AAC device. He's also partially toilet trained (uses pull-ups and needs to be prompted to go; does not require regular changing). Both kids are very sweet and usually chill. We're looking for someone who is patient, kind but firm, and always willing to presume competence. Experience with autistic kids strongly preferred. Must have your own transportation. Must be LGBTQ+ Friendly!
