About the job

Seeking dedicated caregiver for our 5 y/o son, L, who has cerebral palsy and global developmental delays. We hope to find a long-term candidate who can build a strong relationship with L. L is sweet, engaged, and loves to laugh and explore through assisted play. While non-verbal & non-ambulatory, he's highly communicative & cognitively engaged. He crawls independently & is learning to use an iPad to communicate and a gait trainer to walk. This is a physical job - must be able to lift 45# & have your own car. Special needs experience helpful but initiative and eagerness to learn are most important. Seeking a full partner in L's development, not just a caregiver. Approx 18-24 hrs/wk M-F after school. More hrs negotiable! Strong preference for committing to the entire school yr & ideally beyond. Competitive pay!
