Approximate Hours: Sept-Dec - Tues, Wed, Thurs 7:30 am/8 am-5pm Jan-May - Mon, Tues, Wed 8am-5pm June-August - Flexible Our work schedules fluctuate but we try to maintain some consistency. We highly value someone with some flexibility and willing to adjust hours as needed. We appreciate the occasional date night or weekend coverage. We can establish a minimum and maximum weekly hour amount with you. Family: Two Children Ages 3.5 and 1 and a loving 10 year old golden retriever Family looking for a nanny to become an extension of our family. We would love someone who can keep them engaged with activities, crafts, adventure walks/outdoor play, library visits, and so much more! While the primary focus will be keeping the children safe, entertained, and on schedule we are looking for someone who enjoys educating and wants to teach the children daily tasks in a creative way while working on them with age-appropriate milestones. We also ask for our golden retriever to be taken out for a walk daily. Both children are used to a good schedule and thrive when they have a routine to look forward to, including their daily nap. The eldest child is in preschool during the school year 2 (possibly 3) days a week from 8:30-11:30 and may require drop off and pickup. The youngest child is not currently in any scheduled activities but we would like to get her signed up for some in the Fall. We are a limited screen time family and need a nanny who is on board with this and can come with activities to keep the kids busy. We are believers that our children do not need continuous entertainment and value building their independent play skills as well. Additionally, we are looking for light housework that involves the children including keeping areas where the children are tidy. We keep a clean and tidy house and ask the house is kept as we left it. Job Requirements: -Experience with children, specifically toddlers. Preferred to have someone with a basic background in child education or childcare but open to someone with good references and strong experiences. -Must have their own transportation and valid driver’s license. (Car seats will be provided for transportation of children.) Clean drivers record. -CPR and First Aid certification preferred (will cover fees for this if needed and interested) -Strong multitasking and time management skills -Excellent verbal communication skills -The ideal candidate needs to be patient, compassionate and have a nurturing attitude.
