About the job
We're a family with two kids ages 3 and 5 in West Cambridge. We will have some intermittent needs for a nanny over the summer (mostly the last two weeks of July), but we are mostly looking for a nanny starting in September once the kids are in school. We are looking for someone to come on weekday afternoons, starting at 12:30/1 p.m. most days to do some housekeeping (laundry, tidying, light cooking, errands, etc), walking to pick up one or both kids (depending on the afterschool lottery) at school at 2:15 pm, and then staying with them until around 3:30/4:30 p.m. most days. (It is likely that most Wednesdays would be a day when we wouldn't need help.) We could commit to 10-12 hours each week at a minimum, but we may need more hours some weeks so flexibility would be great. Being able to drive (we have a car you could use) is a plus.
