About the job

Hiring a community and in-home assistant for a very spirited, funny and social 14-year-old AAC user. You must be 18 and have a good driving record. Being physically fit also helps. Must be okay with anxiety and sharing the space in silence. Needs to be calm and okay with being coached. Medium level personal care is needed. The lucky hire will spend days out and about with him or early evenings at home, enjoy his sense of humor, read books aloud to him, and be instrumental in his growth. You MUST be open to working with individuals that are complex and/or use AAC. This is for pay far above a personal care assistant hourly rate. Year round position.
