About the job
We are looking for part-time care for our children, ages 6 and 1. We live in South Amherst in a quiet, walkable neighborhood just a few minutes away from school playgrounds. We'd love to find a babysitter with some experience or interest in working with children on the autism spectrum. Our older son loves music, reading, being outdoors, and has a wonderful sense of humor. Our 1-year-old is sweet, social, curious, and active. Our babysitter would generally only be caring for one child at a time, until they are comfortable caring for both. HOURS: July: a few hours per week in July for someone to get to know our kids August 4-27: About 4 hours in the middle of the day M-F (we are flexible), and 4-5 hours on either Saturday or Sunday. School year: few weekend hours, and some occasional weekday/evening hours if their schedule permits
