About the job

Hi! I am looking for someone to hang out with my kids for the Summer, 3 times per week for about 4 hours a day to watch my 9-year-old son and 13-year-old daughter. Located in Palatine. This schedule would alternate every two weeks while I commute downtown to work: WEEK 1: Mon, Tue, Wed and WEEK 2: Mon, Wed, Thu. I am in need of a reliable, compassionate, empathetic person who loves kids and understands the needs of a teen and preteen. I would like someone with a strong work ethic, and a reliable car for any fun activities outside the home. I have cats, so I prefer someone who does not have pet allergies, a person who can watch the kids if they want to swim in the backyard, and make sure they have lunch. Otherwise, my kids are pretty independent. My teen daughter loves fashion and my son has a very creative mind.
