About the job

There are caretakers and then there are those who truly become an extension of your family. My husband and I work from home and travel frequently for work. We are looking for a long-term, loving afternoon nanny who is a sturdy but empathetic coach. Specifically, someone who has the skill of holding boundaries while staying calm and grounded and motivating children without constantly intervening (e. g. taking on their challenges for them). Ideal candidate has a teaching background (Montessori or Reggio Emilia knowledge a plus!) Job Details: Care for two boys (4. 5 & 7. 5 yrs), Weekdays (2p-5:30p); $20-30/hr plus benefits. Flexible, non-smoker, fully vaccinated, and willing to transport children (experienced driver with own car), with strong previous employer references.
