VIBRANT, FUN, & STRUCTURED day-time assistant/for 10 yr old girl w/physical sp. needs. Long-term position (1 yr or more). CONSIDERING ONLY APPLICANTS THAT CARRY & MOVE 52 lbs CHILD THROUGHOUT THE WORK DAY! Girl suffered anoxic brain injury at 4. 5 yrs old & lost ability to independently sit, stand, walk, talk & eat. Currently able to do all w/assistance! She's Fun-loving, SWEET, HAPPY & sometimes SASSY. Able to communicate w/ verbal "yes/no", look at choices given, or use device. Eats & drinks by mouth & requires being feed. Complete assistance w/moving place to place. Attend school (5th grade) w/her. Extensive training provided! Attend entire school day, assist w/ educ, moving from class to class & toileting needs (potty), Actively participate in all activities -work w/ two brothers (ages 9 & 6)
