Job Title: Full-Time Travel Nanny for Equestrian Family Agency: Chasing Connections Location: Wellington, FL (with travel to various horse shows and a summer home up north) Chasing Connections is thrilled to present an exciting opportunity for a passionate and adventurous individual! We are looking for a full-time nanny to join an equestrian family based in Wellington. This role involves caring for their children throughout the school year in Wellington and traveling with them during the summer to various horse shows, as well as staying in their northern home. Key Responsibilities: - Provide attentive care for the children during travel for school and summer horse shows. - Assist with daily activities, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. - Help prepare for and participate in competitions, managing schedules and logistics. - Assist with the family dogs as needed. - Perform light housekeeping tasks, including tidying up at the end of the day. What We Offer: - Start Date: Tentative start on June 23, with the possibility of an earlier start by June 1st. Trail: 3 day trial before hiring - Compensation: Competitive weekly pay of $1,120 for 40 hours (at $28/hour), with cash payment for any hours worked over 40 and $100 for overnight stays. - Employment Details: Payment is made through the family's farm, with taxes withheld and listed as a Family Assistant, which includes workers' compensation coverage. - Housing & Transportation: The family provides housing and a rental car when traveling north. In Florida, you will have your own housing and the option to use your own car, with mileage reimbursed for any travel related to the job. - Work Schedule: Flexibility is required, with occasional help needed on weekends. Days off are typically Monday and Tuesday, and certain weekends off can be arranged when possible. Qualifications: - Must be legal to work in the U.S. - Fluent in English, Spanish is a plus. - Experience with childcare, particularly with school-aged children. - Ability to work long days while ensuring the safety and enjoyment of the children. - Strong organizational skills and multitasking ability. - Comfortable with animals, especially dogs and horses, familiarity with equestrian events is a plus. - A safe driver with a clean driving record. - Non-smoker. - Age preference: 25-38 years old.
