About the job

Seeking a dependable caregiver for 2 boys (7 & 11). Our oldest is a sweet boy who is easy to get along with. Our youngest is "high functioning" autistic - he's considered twice exceptional but he struggles w emotional regulation, especially w changes & transitions. We teach healthy communication w collaboration while still teaching boundaries. He uses self soothing techniques (i. e his cat) but needs to have someone who can be flexible w collaboration & discipline. Can't be too soft & can't be too strict - balanced emotions are essential. We prefer the boys get out & off screens when possible so must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation. Lite food prep & some tutoring required. One day a week to start, with strong potential for additional hours if its a great fit.
