About the job

My husband and I are looking for an experienced part-time nanny for our newborn son. We need someone who is available to start in November after we both go back to work. Our little guy will be 6 months old around that time. We are looking for a caregiver that we can trust with our child and take great care of him. We want someone that has a genuine love for children and finds joy in nurturing, teaching, and playing. We need care in the morning on the days we both work. These days vary each month -- about 7 to 9 days out of the month, and would be from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. (weekdays only). My husband works third shift so he will be home sleeping during this time. We are both on a consistent, rotating work schedule, so you would know the days you are needed way ahead of time. We live in a quiet neighborhood in Lakeland Highlands/Lake Miriam area. We have two dogs, Riley and Remi. Riley is a chocolate lab (super friendly and a lover), and Remi is a hound mix (also friendly but can be more shy).
