About the job

We are looking for a patient, attentive babysitter for our curious and active 1. 5-year-old son once or twice a week - on Friday evening or Saturday afternoon/evening for date night, and the occasional weekday during the day for a few hours so I can have some me time. For the foreseeable future, with flexibility on day and time. No screen time. Must love outdoor play, be comfortable getting messy, and value presence over distraction. Familiarity with Montessori or child-led play is a plus. We prioritize engagement, creativity, and patience. Modeling respectful behavior like cleaning up after yourself is important. Seeking someone who sees young children as whole people and delights in connecting with them.
