About the job

Seeking part-time support person to do activities & provide rides for 22 yr old with Down Syndrome. He's a likable and pretty capable guy who likes video games, movies, & has a great sense of humor. He graduated from high school & needs afternoon activities. He does a few activities once a week: piano lessons, art studio & a disabilities activity program. We need someone to spend one or two afternoons a week with him. Afternoon activities might be to walk around the lake, go to the library or museum, play a video game with him, or take him to a piano lesson or to Burger King. How this works is you sign up with a POSA that pays by activity ($22-$26) - it requires you to do a quick online training and get CPR cert if you don't already have that. It wojuld be just 1 or 2 afternoons a week. You need a car to drive him to activities.
