A young family is looking for an organized and proactive career live out Nanny to care for their toddler aged child who attends a nursery program M to F and an infant age 6 mos in San Francisco. The Nanny will keep the child's routines running smoothly from morning to bedtime with downtime in-between. The family is looking for a long-term relationship with a care provider, someone who is interested in growing with their family. The schedule will vary depending on the day, typically 8 to 11 hours per day. Occasional overnights are required when parents are traveling. The Nanny must be experienced and capable of managing two children at once. Typical mornings may be preparing the child for school but more likely is helping with the infant. Assisting the household with laundry, errands, or other support during the downtime. Then pick up the child at school around 3:30pm and prepare meals, playtime, bath/bed routines and ending the evening at 8:30pm. Assistance is also required at weekends. There will be a flexible schedule of 1.5 days off during the week. The ideal candidate will be extroverted, loving and have a strong interest in childhood development. The family has a strict no-phone policy during working hours except for work related communication including updates for parents with call/text/photos and using an app for playing music. The Nanny will have extensive experience in childcare, with a strong familiarity with developmental milestones for young children. The Nanny will be able to curate creative activities for the child to enliven a sense of play and fun. Doing outdoor activities, going to the park, riding a bike they can provide an E bike to pick up child at school no hills, just flat street riding, and being physically able to run around with a toddler. House has five flights of stairs and must be able to carry children and go up and down throughout the day. Confidentiality, good judgement, and discretion are required. Private bed and full bath ensuite with a private kitchen for the Nannies to use. Relocation offered. Responsibilities Provide care for a toddler aged child, ensuring a safe and engaging environment while adhering to the child's daily routine and schedule Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks Clean up after child and maintain organization of play area and belongings Curate creative indoor/outdoor play activities Light housekeeping, organization, and laundry Loving with children and want to build a connection with kids and family Requirements Early Childhood Education Degree or extensive childcare background with a minimum of 5 years of experience in this field CPR and first-aid certification Experience caring for 6 to 12 months year-olds and transitioning infants to solid foods, knowledge of key developmental milestones experienced with potty training and toddler behavior modification Agile and the ability to lift 35 pounds and walk up and down five flights of stairs Must be able to ride and operate an e bike Ability to travel when needed, passport ready Driver preferred car provided during working hours Second language a plus Job Type Full Time, Live out Location San Francisco, CA Schedule Monday Friday 6:30am 8:30am 3:30pm 8:30pm with weekends required and alternating days off. Middle of the day hours may be used for laundry, food shopping, organizing child's room and toys, inventories, etc. Compensation 110K DOE Employment is contingent upon passing a background check and agency's ability to verify professional references
