About the Family This Hillsborough-based family is seeking a mature, highly-educated, and polished nanny for their 7-year-old son. Their sporty and curious boy thrives in a structured environment with clear routines and intellectually engaging activities. The family is looking for a professional caregiver who can function as both a nurturing presence and an academic mentor, offering support with studies and ensuring a safe, stimulating daily routine while parents are at work. While this is a summer position for now (June 3-July 12, with potential extension through July), they are hoping to continue with the right candidate long-term starting in August. The Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will be confident, well-presented, and bring strong teaching or tutoring skills to the role. This person should be proactive, organized, and have excellent communication skills. A background in education or early childhood development is highly preferred. The family values professionalism, experience, and someone who is prepared to step into the role with independence and maturity. Candidates must also be comfortable managing the schedule independently, including transportation to and from day camp and coordinating afternoon educational activities.
