Warm and Engaging Nanny and Family Assistant Web Job #: 10504 Location: Atherton, California Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 pm, candidate needs to be flexible to adjust hours to 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. when the family hires an afternoon/evening Family Assistant. Children: 1 and 3 years old (oldest child is in preschool the majority of the day) Duties: Childcare, driving children, light housekeeping, family laundry, meal prep and simple cooking for the children, errands, online ordering, scheduling children's appointments and service personnel. Requirements: Ideal Candidate has at least three to five years of experience caring for children of similar ages, has a pitch-in, can-do attitude, strong communication skills, and is equally and fully comfortable with the family assistant duties as well as the childcare duties. Driver with a car required, family can provide parking. Candidate must have or be willing to obtain vaccinations including COVID and the boosters, annual flu shots, Dtap and MMR. Ability to travel four to six times per year for up to a week a plus. Swimmer and Hindi or Urdu speaker a plus, not a requirement. Montessori teaching or daycare experience also a plus. Salary: $37-$45 per hour, depending on experience. Benefits: Two weeks paid vacation, six or seven paid holidays, five paid sick days, guaranteed pay 52 weeks of the year, and mileage reimbursement.
