Title: Full-time Nanny, Travel-Ready & Bilingual Web Job #: 10247 Location: Primary residence in Atherton, California- occasional care needed in Sonoma, California (transportation assistance provided), plus domestic and international travel throughout the year. Schedule: The schedule could be Monday through Friday or Thursday through Sunday from 12:00 pm to 6:00 or 7:00 pm. The ideal Candidate is flexible to shift their schedule when needed and will be guaranteed pay even when not needed to work. Children: 2 and 8 year olds- primary care is for the 2 year old. Duties: The core responsibilities of this role are to provide attentive, loving care for the toddler, with occasional care for an older sibling- support developmental milestones through play, learning, and daily routines- work collaboratively with other caregivers in a team-based environment and maintain a high level of discretion and professionalism at all times. The daily duties include childcare and supervision, including overnight care when needed- attending and actively participating in enrichment activities with the children- preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children- children's laundry and maintaining cleanliness and organization of their spaces- light housekeeping related to children (e.g., tidying play areas, dishes after meals)- running errands as needed- and accompanying the family on frequent domestic and international trips. Requirements: The ideal Candidate is warm, loving, has several years of professional childcare experience, and speaks English and a second language fluently, ideally Spanish, French, Italian, or German. Background in early childhood education or teaching is a strong plus. Ideal Candidate is comfortable collaborating closely with parents and other household staff, flexible, dependable, proactive, and able to adapt to changing needs. Must be comfortable with dogs, and must have or be willing to obtain up-to-date vaccinations, including COVID, MMR, Tdap, and flu.
