Hi, My wife and I are looking for a part-time nanny to help care for our 1.5 and 3.5 year-old girls that will be accompanied by a newborn boy this June. In addition to being great with little ones, a solid candidate will have experience with and a willingness to do the following: 1.) Cooking/meal prep: Someone who is on top of it in this department but can also help my wife learn to cook and meal prep as well. This might include picking up groceries with my wife and children in our vehicle. 2.) Someone who could assist our little ones with and provide playful, educational, creative learning opportunities to help our children grow and meet their developmental milestones (such as potty training). 3.) A willingness to engage in some light cleaning around the house as-needed. 4.) Being alright with my wife's yellow lab (a service dog) being around. She's very sweet and loving! 5.) An openness and ability to accompany my wife and children over to a local park, library or splash pad to have some fun! We are Catholic and conservative and would like someone who shares our values. So, someone who is at least an active, practicing Christian or member of the LDS church would be preferred. Additionally, it's important for whoever works with us to set a good example for our children and display appropriate and professional conduct with regards to modest dress, speech and appearance. This includes: - Dressing in a manner that covers private areas such as the midriff, chest and bottom - No booty shorts or see-through clothing - Tattoos are not a dealbreaker unless they contain inappropriate messages or images that cannot be covered. Tattoos that can be covered would be preferable. - Ear piercings are fine (except gauges), but we would ask that unusual piercings visible on the face or other parts of the body that are not concealed be removed. - Someone who is a non-smoker (this includes no vaping, marijuana) and does NOT engage in the use of recreational drugs. Both our children are very playful and welcoming. They enjoy meeting people who they will get to play and share their world with. Our 3.5 year old loves to color, do puzzles, read, learn and build things. Our 1.5 year old loves to tag along with her sister and play with her. She likes to color and listen to stories, and is very active. They thrive on having little jobs or tasks that they can help out with. Both our girls love music, dance parties, play dates, park visits or splash pad outings.
