About Samantha

Work Experience: I have childcare experience with ages infant to teens. I worked at the Y for 5 years as a camp counselor, lifeguard, swim instructor, bus driver and child sitter. I was at a daycare for 2 years as lead teacher for the 2YO classroom. I taught outdoor education for 2 summers at LCC for 1st to 6th graders. Nannied for a family for 1 year. Then was an assistant lead teacher for an 18-36 month classroom. Nannied for one family for 4. 5 years. Most recently Nannied for two boys - then COVID-19 came and sent me on a detour into retail. I am currently looking for something I can bring my 2yo daughter with me to work. I love children and animals and enjoy cooking healthy meals and keeping an organized environment. I don't like to plop kids in front of a screen. I encourage playing, being outside, the arts, and learning.
