Hi! I am an energetic and interactive nanny who loves to play with your children! I love to be outdoors when our Texas weather cooperates. If not, I can make a game out of most anything and love reading when inside. I have always loved children. We had seven of our own whom whom we home schooled. When the youngest was in high school, I began doing private nanny work. I fell in love with each of my families and have continued contact with many of them. Throughout my life, I have also been a preschool and elementary teacher in both public school and various churches. One of my highest joys with my present family was to teach their oldest two sons to read, and also design preschool ABC lessons for their 3-year-old. We had a blast! There is nothing more precious to me than when a child grows in character and responsibility or in his love for a sibling. The family I currently work for is moving, so I am seeking a full time position. It would be my joy to serve your family. Nancy.

What a fantastic caregiver Nancy was! We hired Nancy as our first babysitter, since recently joining Care.com, so we were a tiny bit apprehensive at first (since we didn't know what to expect)...But, after speaking with Nancy (and with her great references), we quickly realized what a GEM we had found! She arrived on the planned date, just as promised (and was even a few minutes early), and she connected IMMEDIATELY with our 5 year-old son. He is very active (he's "all boy"), and is non-stop action all day. We were amazed to see Nancy jump straight into action, and straight into playing with him, effortlessly. She even took him outside to play, which was just perfect for his little adventurous spirit. When we went to leave for our date night, he barely noticed, and happily waved us goodbye. She sent us text updates throughout the evening (which we loved), and she even read him a book before bed (which we appreciated). To say Nancy went above-and-beyond while caring for our son would be an understatement. This woman is a true blessing, and anyone else would be extremely lucky to have her as their nanny or babysitter. We can't wait to hire her again soon!
