About Kelly

Hello. I have over 18 years of experience working with children and absolutely love it! I am certified in elementary/special education and have worked as an intervention instructor to improve reading/math skills, worked with children who have special needs, and I also have experience working with children in the general education classroom who are on grade level as well as those kids needing to be challenged at a higher level. One of my most important strategies is to make teaching engaging and fun which helps in getting their attention and keeping it! Over the last four years, I've been working with children in a non-school environment. During covid, I helped children navigate the virtual learning experience through homeschooling. Now, with kids back in school full-time, I am available for tutoring. In addition, I am also available to work as a care take and can combine this with homework assistance or teaching pre-school aged children while I'm watching them.
