About Christina

My name is Christina. I have been working with children for the last six years. I have five years of experience working with children with severe special needs in a public school setting. I have worked in a group home for adults with special needs. Each summer I am a camp counselor at a camp for campers with special needs. I have experience with children and adults in wheelchairs, g-tube feedings, personal hygiene care, promoting social skills, and have worked with a wide variety of needs in the special needs field. Please feel free to ask me any questions you may have about my experience. I have also worked as a Youth Treatment Counselor in a residential treatment center for children with emotional issues. I have provided emergency therapeutic intervention for these children as well as positive attention and connections. I am currently employed full time in a special needs room in a public school and will only be able to work Friday night and am open all weekend.
